Today my work as a wedding photographer takes me back to Castelli Romani, in a location I am particularly fond of: Villa Grazioli.
This couple were supposed to get married in New Zealand, but for work reasons they had to move to the Netherlands.
Since their friends and relatives would have had to make a long journey anyway, they decided to het married in Italy because of the good food, the lovely people, the excellent wine and the fantastic weather.
They already knew Villa Grazioli, a location which in addition to being historically unique has a strategic position being so close to Rome. That worked good for them and their guests.

The bride watches my moves from the window 😉

Russell getting ready in Castelli Romani

With Russell, the groom, we decide to bring his dress to the antique library.

The groom is calm and well disposed.

Best man to the rescue 😉

Time for the first of many toasts.

Russell wants to go out to meet with all his friends by the Villa’s pool and have a tost with them too.

Some nice photos.

And off to another toast!

A big toast with all the friends by the pool.

I leave Russell there to enjoy the good weather, for me it is time to join the bride.

Brooke getting ready inside Villa Grazioli

I go up to the suite where the bride is getting ready.

The bride is called Brooke and she is in a very good mood, while enjoying makeup time with her sisters and their mother.

A golden toast 🙂

We decide to go up to the roof terrace to take some cool pictures in there.

Time to have fun…

… before wearing the wedding dress for the ceremony.

We are ready to reach Russell at the ceremony.

Brooke and Russell are now husband and wife.

Before going down to the guests we take some time for a handful of pictures.

The triumphal exit from the Villa!

Hugs, smiles and kisses.

Celebration with guests

While the outdoor buffet begins, the guests were informed that the tourist tour inside the Villa planned by the newlyweds is about to start.
Before that we decide to take some more time for the couple’s photos.

After that, the inevitable pictures with the guests… but those are not ordinary ones!

The time has come for me to leave.

Dear Brooke and Russell, from what I have been able to see you are two wonderful people, cheerful and sensitive.
We had a day full emotions, love and many nice folks.
I wish you only the best for the rest of your lives.
